If you can find a copy to purchase, you might want to do so, but only you can decide if you like it or not. Thief Gold comes with DromEd, a "Making of Thief" video, mission tweaks, two Fire Shadows, slight story changes to make it fit with TMA, three new missions to show how Garrett is the Master Thief and to give you one quest for each Talisman, a huge addition to the Sword mission, and a hidden mission full of jokes and old ideas that weren't used (including the BugDemon AI that was replaced by the BugBeast).
It really depends on how much you like having classic Thiefy stuff, and if you want DromEd.:erg:
ShadowSneaker: Once you get a working model, will you also try to include the fire crystal dropping and fleeing characteristics, or will you be trying something different?

Don't tell me it :D I am really a freak of this game, I LOVE Thief! And I would do evertything for they should continue the game.
I have bought everything, Thief 1,2, and 3. And now miss only Thief Gold.
And I am managing to buy also Assassin's Creed, the character looks so Thiefy!

Something tells me I don't want that thing near me at any time.

Dang! You're still making progress, though. Sorry I can't help you, but I know someone here can.
Do they have the swiping claw attack, and do they cause Garrett fire damage?
Another pic. I was trying to make his skin visible, but something's wrong. Instead of the modified Raoul the Hermit skin, it's just Raoul! I desaturated the skin in this image to make it look closer to what it's supposed to look like.

I like what you're trying to do, there.:thumb:
Yeah, LGS used Raoul's skin, made it all grayish (not just darkened, but nearly grayscaled), and they changed the face so it's less human.
Ah, I was looking for this:

Haha, well at the moment it only does 1 damage when standing close to you. Hitting does zero damage and the female one won't hit at all
I don't know how to change the damage level they inflict.
SS
I think you have to change for this the archetypes properties of the flame.
Do a copy of it in the actor browser and work with that. In this way I have changed the damage points of the guards swords and the damage points of the treebeasts in Lord Julian's Labyrinth.

The error message might be a gamesys issue, but wait for someone who knows about that.

I'm also trying to alter the frustration levels so they don't do that fist shaking animation when you are out of reach. I think it will be much better if they just stand staring at you.
Well, now that I think about it, what about giving them a sort of ranged attack that the player is hit by flames from time to time "when this AI sees the player" and is in red alert? No projectiles at all (although it would be interesting whether we can create melee and ranged combat AIs like in Equilibrium), but just as if the fire shadow would cause flames to appear on Garrett's clothes every eight seconds or something. Makes the player think about escaping more quickly I guess.

I'd only make it for 1. red alert and 2. sees the player (so that it can in some way cast the spell). Maybe a little flame emitter placed at the player and one health shield damage, so that everyone knows what happened. Basically this all should work without any weapon settings. Well, if it works.
