Hey all i be havings computer problems. I been using new laptop, and it had come with a finger-scan touchpad to let me login. Problem I am havings is that suddenly touchpad has disappeared from my computer, and nothing that is done will make it even recognize I have one. I've tried re-installing new drivers and everything, that don't even work. Ideas?

What operating system are you running, fuck-knuckles? Is the finger-pad software third-party or native? Usually you can override the finger scanner with a password. It sounds like you are able to access your system. I would suggest seeing whether it shows up at all in device manager (if you're on windows).
Primarily though, I would suggest acknowledging the fact that fingerprint scanners and almost all other consumer biometric devices are a very poor form of security and easily broken. As in, I saw a kid override a fingerprint scanner without much effort
