So, my friend and me finally have Multiplayer working for System Shock 2, we rejoice and what not, the game is loading, we both spawn, Everything seems normal until we can not see eachother, we both appear invisible to eachother. We can even walk through eachother as if we are both just running singleplayer.....
EDIT: Actually, it appears it basically is Singleplayer, because I can destroy the robot in Advanced training, and it is still there for my friend. so we are basically both playing Singleplayer seperately, but still in the same server.
Any suggestions?

Real multiplay starts after you have boarded to Von Braun, not before that. First level is for familiarizing with controls and inventory system and second one is for boosting your stats.
