I second Spitter's call for shittiness. At the very least it should be filled with big and dumb 'splodes. As much as I love artfaggery, something that requires concentration is not the right subject for this GRAND EXPERIMENT.

If I was going to be involved, I'd be making calls for some classic comedy.
Like Airplane! Nothing gets people laughing and throwing lines at each other like that movie, or something equally hilarious/pop-culturey.

I'll take part. This is going to be a lot harder to synchronize than music though.

Gotta be a short movie or a long album...
So no LOTR trilogy IRC marathon? :(
Unless you all somehow end up picking a movie I have already, I can be counted out due to the lack of motivation to get to blockbuster...

wasn't there discussion about doing this on IRC a couple years ago? And didn't the five minute or so runtime difference on PAL vs NTSC throw a bit of a wrench into ever doing it? In either case, I'm in.
OnionBob, Dave Angel, and I tried it with Hunt For Red October (which is one of the best fucking movies ever, you faggots) and the PAL/NTSC framerate difference did indeed throw a wrench into the works.
If we make a go of this (and I think we should because it's a great idea) we'll need to torrent something.

No.
I second the torrent idea and propose Blazing Saddles or Fight Club.

I'm in, even if it's artfag or anime. Of course, I'm on the opposite side of the planet of the UK Kru. I vote for any scifi/horror movie made between the years of 1979 and 1989.
