i have fought with simons for a long time, but i couldn't win over him....he is very strong!
the prob is: i have empty guns, and my LAMs are also away.....
i have only one solution for this prob: the dragon sword.....but its very difficult to beat him!
can you help me? how have you killed simons? :tsktsk:

I reccomend sticking LAMs on the truck before you meet him (i.e. as you go through the first time), or if you're a real man, have a go at him with your baton, it's great fun :D

Well, if you'd like a bit of the old Ronald cunning, simply activate your (hopefully you've got this) fully upgraded "Run fast/Jump high" Aug, then leg it back to your sub.
Easy.
Just remember - pick up any ammo you see. I can't believe that you've got no ammunition for any of your weapons...be careful.

I give a lot about atmosphere, so, of course, I dueled him with the Dragontooth. (Same as Chow)
Takes a bit, and you're good off with the old "swing while you run backwards"-method...

I killed him with those explosive rounds from the machin gun I've forgotten the name of right now. But this guy went at me with a plasma gun! How can you have duelled him with the dragontooth?

Here's a fun way to dispatch him: Bring all the TNT crates to the crew quarters and stack them in the hall near the ladder (but leave just enough room to get by). Get Simons to chase you and hoof it down the ladder. He'll most likely get stuck behind the crates and lose track of you. Poke your head up for an instant so he thinks he has a shot, and then duck. Since shooting TNT crates with a plama gun isn't a good idea ... well, you get the picture.

Mhm, right... maybe I mistook that for a moment... Does he change to the DT later? Or is that a completely wrong picture in my mind?

He has both a Dragon's Tooth and a plasma cannon. He'll switch off between the two depending on how close you are.

The very first time i faced off against Simons i was doing the whole Mr. Anti Violence thing, so i didn't have any decent weapons - i just hit the switch to electrify the tracks, leapt heroically over them, became paralysed from the waist down after being hit by a stray arc, and turned around to watch Simons wander right into the middle of that electrical field and shock himself to death. *shrug*
The second time i snuck out of sight, went around behind him, and shot him in the back of the head with a LAW. That's my advice, save the LAW that you get earlier on in that level for Simons - one shot and he's gone.
