Well, when I saw these teams, I went back to my original plan of supporting Uruguay. These guys were cuter than the all-too-blonde&blue-eyed dutch players. Never fear though, I'll probably go for the team with the extra Bommels in the finals; depending on whether or not my unlucky charm works against the spanish guys tomorrow. ;)
So: tomorrow, I'm absolutely for Spain.
For the finals, if it's Netherlands:Spain, I'll still be for Spain.
If it's Netherlands:Germany, I'll be for the Netherlands.
I don't like the german team. Nobody is even remotely cute... :/
Besides, it gives me the creeps that random people in the neighborhood, even if they're totally obese and haven't done any sort of sports in decades, seem to believe that
they are playing football tomorrow. :confused:

Well, it's extra bommels and a disturbingly aryan team vs. a bunch of ugly people with disturbing names(*) and very large bones below their eyebrows. While I'm all supporting for neanderthalers and homo florensis and stuff, I am disturbed to see them still walking around today, playing football.
Hm, looking at them from that point of view I might actually find some sympathies for them from a paleoarcheological point of view... ;)
(*) okay, the "disturbing names" bit is also true for Mr. van Bommel. "Bommel" would be a very local and very informal name for the bodyparts that my neutered tomcats are missing. :p

I hope Spain takes it all though because Germany has won a -ton- of 1st, 2nd, 3rds, and 4ths, with the Netherlands having several wins as well. Spain only has 1 4th place.

Oh come on. Mario Gomez got voted 9th best looking football player of the tournament by some women´s magazine. Apparently he is the "nature-boy" type of guy.
