The Nirnroot quest is the last I did. But yeah, 100 Nirnroots total, but they should've had a quest where you turn in 50 to get a really nice potion. The one they gave is good, but 300 seconds is way too short.
What you do is you use your max acrobatics skill, and jump /run on the water along rivers, then just scoop them.
