Alot of what Kris says is backed up by people who are far more intelligent than proably anybody on this board. Gore Vidal leans toward the the massive corporations, and wealthy have took over this country idea. While real wages have fallen since the 70's, the media insists on downplaying the whole idea. Bush's tax plan helped only the wealthy and didn't do much for the poor. Bush with the backing of the wealthy also want to get rid of most of the social welfare programs This isn't insane rambling this is taught in modern sociology classes, I'm sure most of you know Deus Ex, and Theif and SS2, but how many of you know about the social sciences? I'm no soc major(of any type) but really everybody should have to take an intensive course in it.

You are right, I'm no elite with handed down money so insulated from the working poor that I can make pronouncements from on high about things I have no first hand knowledge. I started from scratch and worked (starting 1980) my way to the lower middle, along the way I raised 2 kids (couldn't afford more because someone else wasn't paying for it), own a house, 3 cars, 103 acres, and although my black neighbors own a bigger home, I don't begrudge them for it because I know how hard they worked for it. Welfare doesn't work except as a safety net because there is no pride in it. Keep a watch on the rich and Bush but please just fine tune- don't argue to change a system that allows anyone to go all the way to the top. Socialism? I would rather fail or succeed on my own merits. Guess I'm happy enslaved by freedom. Stupid me.

Holy Frick! this went from FEMA having crabs to G. Bush being the antichrist and microsoft as his bitch. WTF people? this isnt a political forum, it a GAME forum. We play games to get out of reality, not dwell in it. I wont state my political opinions out-right becuase it'll keep the conversation going. I dont wanna come to these forums and have to read the excerpts from "Crossfire" or any other political talkshow, I put up with shit like that everyday.
