Ah, good times...now let me quote some poetry in honor of the DoD (alas, in Spanish, they're called calaveras, skulls in Spanish):
"De verdad
De verdad nos vamos,
De verdad nos vamos.
Dejamos las flores y los cantos,
Todo lo que existe en la tierra.
¡De verdad nos vamos
De verdad nos vamos!"
-----------------------------------
---------------------------------
Mind you, with all this celebration, food and recitation, let us not forget something to drink with great anticipation

But for people that don't want to break the holidays, here's some atole -->

Why can't I keep pan de muertos in my suit like Manny Calavera?

The Bread of the Dead...Yeah, sounds like a title for some crappy low-budget terror movie, or a horror comedy :), hah!

Happy Day of the Dead, Ducky. :)
Mr.Duck on 3/11/2007 at 20:49
Mind you that the -proper- celebration involves going to your deceased loved one's tombs and fixing'em up, leaving offerings of food and drink that they liked, staying there, offering'em music if they liked and the whole shebang.
Btw...lovely pumpking carvins :) Whose bigmouth supposed to be?, Glottis?
Aja on 4/11/2007 at 02:22
Nah, just some guy.
To be honest, a holiday where you honor the memories of deceased friends and relatives is something we could use over here, especially since it's actually a celebration, not like our depressing funerals.
