Everything with Zach Braff eventually gives way to lots of pleading eyebrows and 'love me' faces being the whole show. The others are pretty good though (when the drama thins out for a minute or two).

Scrubs is a show of genius, especially the latest season when Braff has actually shown that he's not such a bad actor - the comedy has been toned down slightly (At least not completely prevailant in episodes) to focus more on their maturity.

There's nothing more painful than a comedy series going semi-serious (except for when it's for simple moments of emotional resonance) and that sound you're hearing is the three-seasons-too-late death knell.
Look at every comedy series that outstayed its welcome for examples of this.

I'd recommend Carl Sagan's Cosmos. It's got soothing music, ideas that are nice to fall asleep thinking about, and Sagan's voice is like a lullaby after a while.
It's available on Hulu in the US, but probably acquirable elsewhere.

I always fall asleep watching Adult Swim, so I wouldn't know about anything 'feel good' to sleep to.

Thank you for this. There are billions and billions of reasons for me to watch this.
Also, Scrubs is not good bedtime watching if Zach Braff's ham sandwich for a face makes you raaaaaaaage.
