South Park anyone?
D'Arcy on 2/4/2009 at 20:18
I like South Park, but I wouldn't classify it exactly as 'feel-good'.
Macha on 2/4/2009 at 21:30
Feel good in what way? Like 'hahaha' my sides hurt=feel good or.... is there another type?

With Shameless, feel good in that I don't have to live like that!

Mystery Science Theater 3000 is good. Dunno where you'd watch it on TV, but I'm sure you can fandangle some DVDs; it's fairly popular.

Northern Exposure.
Perfect answer.

I'm glad I didn't reply without reading the whole thread. Chalk up one more for Northern Exposure. It's really old, but I have never watched a better "feel good" series.

Survivorman. Best night-time atmosphere ever. You'll be all cozy in your bed and he'll be all cozy in his cedar-bough shelter or his poorly-made igloo.

If you feel like venturing into anime territory there's Azumanga Daioh. It's got so many warm fuzzies that it's practically a box full of kittens.

Adding another one to the list (depending on your preferences):
Beavis and Butthead.
