Favourite and most hated NPC's...... - by Jordana

This is a fun thread (of course anything would be refreshing after lurking the Thief forum :tsktsk: ). Wynne, you must feel better getting that off your chest. Imagine trying to repress your feelings for Helseth since Daggerfall.
Well, I must concede I have a weakness for the kitties, so I was thoroughly charmed by Ajira when I first entered the Balmora Mages Guild. Ahnassi (of the Halfway Tavern in Pelagiad) has a strong allure, but she is a bit too pushy for my taste.
For my pick of favorite NPC, I name the heretofore neglected Goval Ralen. He's the suitor the more discerning matchmakers among you introduced to the lonely Dunmer loitering in the Great Bazaar in Mournhold. Like me, Goval was new to Mournhold, but had such a passion for the place (and life in general), that my mood improved immediately after meeting him outside the Temple. After all, when was the last time you saw a Dark Elf smile, to say nothing of bursting out with artless enthusiasm, “Look at this place, isn't it great!”. What can I say? His innocence, sincerity and general good humor won me over.

Ah Wynne, very good to see you visiting again after all this time! :D
I would also like to add that crazy guy from Bloodmoon that tells you the future. (You know, the one that sends you to save his friend, and it turns out his friend
is a skull
.)
Did you find his eternally awake sea captain? Travel north-west from his cave and you get a quest. ... I forgot what the reward is. Gah.
Striker on 30/1/2004 at 02:35
Yeah, I met him. His reward is a key to a tomb with lot's o treasure on the other side of Solsthiem.

My favorite was the only surviving dwarf, Yagrum or something.
His attack animation was so funny. I fought him just to see him wave his hand at me and cause a general commotion.

*high-fives Jordana* YES! I do not drool alone! *lol* I'm tempted to say we should have a separate thread devoted solely to Helseth, but I fear that the resulting upsurge of estrogen would be too much for the forum to handle. ;) When did you first see Helseth? What struck you about him? (Besides the obvious... mrowr!)
Cyrano, I do indeed feel a great weight is off my shoulders now! I translated my Daggerfall character to Morrowind, and since she's a Dark Elf I figured the storyline worked pretty well agewise. I like to pretend Kaelin is now reunited with her old business partner. I guess when Oblivion or any upcoming TES game rolls around, she'll retire to Mournhold with her snugglebunny and I'll play something new for a change. :cheeky:
Goval Ralen? Oh, wow, I'm not sure if I met him! *fights urge to dash back to Mournhold when the Telvanni and vampires call*
Aw, thanks, Striker. It's great to be here. :D I LOVE Morrowind. I am rather a geek in general, but Morrowind makes me want to surrender to my geekiness utterly.

Goval Ralen is no one remarkable. He does have a fun greeting, but nothing to supplant Helseth in your heart I am certain. Of course, there were all those years between Daggerfall and Morrowind that you spent in that Imperial prison, if you had met Goval before being reunited with Helseth... No, it's too horrible to contemplate.

Hmm... I'll have to see if, when playing as a female, he puts out. That would place him a notch above Helseth, as I haven't actually bagged him yet... although, you know, when a girl settles down to marry, that's when she looks for the virgins... ;)
What? Yes, I know I need a boyfriend. Go away. Or... hey, are you boys single? Wait, why are you running very fast in the other direction? And ow, your screams are hurting my ears...
