For shame! :) Could be worse though. Could be the supremely killable purple one.

~Jordy, who admits owning a fluffy yellow Pikachu in real life :) He is for real and can be found in the main game. But is rather challenging:p I found him by accident while trying out my new constant effect waterbreathing shirt around Ebonheart (and I suggest anyone trying for his location should be sure to have some sort of waterbreathing magic or else it will be rather challenging to reach him). You'll need to find an underwater grotto called Mudan, then search for the lost Dwemer outpost within. The grotto is located south of Ebonheart on a tiny, featureless little mound of rocks sticking up from the water. It looks like every other tiny, featureless little mound of rocks, so the easiest method is to go to
(
http://www.buttersky.com/morrowind/#dragonbone) Hannah's Whereizit site and look for directions to the Dragonbone Curiass. This nifty magical item is also located within the Dwemer outpost. Sadly, Peke Utchoo has already meant his demise due to a deadly miscalculation. You only meet him through his hastly scrawled last words as he is currently a bleached skeleton. A sad but ironic tale - every adventurer should take heed and learn from his mistake! :tsktsk: I hope you enjoy finding him as much as I did and the dwemer artifacts in the central vault (especially the magical dragonbone curiass) certainly make the trip worthwhile!

HELSETH. YES! As I said at the official site... okay, yeah, I know there's a real world, and I do actually get out now and then to see it. And yeah, I know he tried to have me killed, and he sent me running around on all sorts of wacky errands, both in Daggerfall and now. But, nevertheless, discounting all of that for a moment, I have been madly in love with Helseth for the longest time.
Why? I have no idea. I can only blindly fumble at the reasons.
I read the uncensored version of the Real Barenziah. And while a... certain scene was certainly eyebrow-raising, the whole of it was just an interesting story to me. I ended up liking Symmachus and Barenziah very much. I ended up sympathizing with her children... Helseth didn't have a lot of stability in his life, and his non-father Eadwyre kept wanting to send him away to school, while his mother defended him. I get the sense that Helseth loves his mother and that he does make real ties and friendships, but that in regards to someone like Eadwyre or Elysana, all bets would be off.
And speaking of that rat-wench, next to Elysana, Prince Helseth looked good. It was an embarrassing missive we saw in that letter quest and shows how sneaky Helseth is, but honestly, wasn't it hilarious?
My Dear Lord Castellian,
Sorry about the necessity of delivering this letter by the roughest possible service, but it would be unthinkable to approach you at the castle on such a delicate matter. I have long admired your loyalty to the crown and neutrality in internal affairs. Understand that I only want to save your dignity from a possibly embarrassing scenario.
The problem rests in your sister, the Lady Pasipha, who though she resides abroad still communicates regularly with members of court. I understand and respect the depth of your sibling love and affection for one another, for, in response to a curious inquiry of mine, Lady Pasipha sent me several touching letters penned in your hand.
"Have you ever espied with delight a red berry half-drowned in cream? So I dreamed of you, my dearest love, pouring my soul into you, sweet, for your touch, dear, my soul is quite forfeit."
While you and I know the innocence of your fondness for the lady, the more prurient minds at court, as you are aware, are inclined toward grotesque misintepretation. Her husband, I understand, is famous for his jealous rages. I am of several minds on the matter, how to best avoid possible negative reaction, and would appreciate your response at the soonest possible opportunity. I will await you at Castle Wayrest.
Helseth,
Prince of Wayrest
Considering the implications of what Castellian was doing, I don't really feel sorry for him. And since rumors around Daggerfall show that Elysana (who tries to kill you) was supported by Lord Castellian (who also tries to kill you) over Helseth for the succession, I really, really don't feel sorry for him.
Helseth is a thorn in everybody's side, but he does it with style. And while he is treacherous, ruthless, and ambitious, he seems to have an offbeat sense of humor and justice about it. I get the feeling that, if he did murder Llethan and Vandas (if those were the names of the King and Prince), they might well have deserved it somehow.
Finally, he's pretty damned cute. So sue me. I shall continue to rejoice that he is currently displaying no signs of a wife, and wish for mods to expand his fine character, which has fascinated me ever since I first clicked on his pixelated cardboard cutout in Daggerfall. He may be a villain, he may be a vigilante, but as seen in "A Game at Dinner" and many other scenarios, he is undoubtedly a clever piece of work--and a shrewd king who cares more about his kingdom than false goddesses.
And he IS mercurial. Somebody used that word about him, mercurial. I love that word.
Other than Helseth, Loved:
--Also Ajira. Darling.
--And... I forget his name, but, that rascally guy who wants a kiss, then forgets you. (Damn him for forgetting you! Well, I forget him in revenge. Yes, I know he was mentioned in this thread, I'm just being willfully ignorant.)
--Vivec, because he's the least annoying of the Tribunal deities you come in contact with, and he helps you out. Later he will no doubt go insane and have to be killed, but for now, he's okay.
--Azura. She's just cool. Way cool.
--BARENZIAH. I think I mentioned that above, but I just adore her.
--Sheogorath--my absolute favorite daedra of all time.
--Karrod. He was just neat.
--That red-something guy on Solstheim. You know, the first guy you meet from the town of Thirsk. Also, everyone in Thirsk... I loved that town. I also liked Engar Ice-Mane.
--Falx Carius. He was my buddy.
--Dulk and Kirsh, or whoever those two little Ricklings in Karstaang's place were.
--Master Aryon of the Telvanni. If Helseth wouldn't have me, I'd take Aryon. ;)
--Mistress Dratha. She was just fun. Because I play as a female. *lol*
--Crassius. He was a freak, but he had redeeming qualities. He was lonely, amusing, and bisexual. I like that in a man.
--That cute little mudcrab.
--Radac! Or, whoever that ghost guy in the dwemer caves under the Plaza was. He was HILARIOUS. Exactly what you wouldn't expect from a ghost.
--Hircine. He was just neat. And he had a nice bod.
--Duke Dren's bro. He had a cute bodyguard with a daedric shield, and I managed to steal some awesome ebony and daedric armor from his shelves.
--Edwinna Elbert of Aldruhn. She was snuggly. She annoyed me much less than the leader of the Balmora guild, and she wanted me to be her boss.
--The bored, pissed-off daedra forced into Vivec's service! They ruled.
Hated:
--Almalexia. GRRAGGH. Yes. Self-important, crazy weather-witch. Some goddess... asking a mere mortal to give displays of 'her' power! Plus, she took away from my time with Helseth just by existing.
--Heart-Fang. I had his number ever since the attack when he disappeared.
--Karstaang. All those human corpses...
--The leader of the Mages' guild--oh, wait, I don't hate him anymore. Because I killed him.
--Dagoth Ur. Daggum, man, can't I get some freaking SLEEP? Stop sending your idiot wacko cultist followers after me!
Lots more NPCs I had reactions to, but I forget most of them. I should really get some sleep.

Jordana on 29/1/2004 at 02:13
Wynne! A fellow Helseth lover :) He's so cute, and he's responsible for corrupting entire TTLG threads with his foxiness ;) *droooooool*
Irakaz, I did like Baladas. He knew a lot about the Dwemer, and he was one of the fairly rare NPC's with individual character.
RyushiBlade on 29/1/2004 at 03:50
I can't remember everybody... Who's Baladas? Is he in Morrowind? Sounds familiar... but that might be because I read this thread a few hours ago.
My favorite NPC is probably... Orvas Dren. Why? Because he pretty much hands me a piece of Daedric Armor for free, an artifact (some ring) and a billion slaves to free. Plus some other odd nick-nacks that're worth a ton. Heh.
The one I hate most is Gaenor. I can't hit him -.-'
Striker on 29/1/2004 at 04:44
Baladas is in Morrowind. You will find him in Gnisis in that big dome building in the hill to the North(?). I like him. You also convince him to become a Telvanni member IIRC.

Yes, if you do that "Solve" the Mystery of the Dwarves quest for Trebonius in the Mages Guild, be sure to visit Baladas (and Yagrum Bagarn) with the books in your posession, as they can give better explanations than Edwinna or Hasphat Antabolis (IMO)
Oh, and I've just realised that no-one seems to have mentioned M'Aiq the Liar. He's definately one of my favourites. I know he's an Easter Egg, but I found him very funny.

RyushiBlade on 29/1/2004 at 21:21
Oh. That Baladas! I've killed him in pretty much every game I've played... Serves him right, protecting himself with murderous monsters when I'm only level 3.
And I forgot all about M'Aiq! Definitely a favorite of mine. I came on him by accident and found him very, very interesting. Instead of all those people working on new werewolf mods, they should make a Wereshark mod instead :cheeky:
