I'm wondering what plug-ins you guys like the best. Do they have any glitches that you know of? Where did you find them?

And what are rar files? I have run across some plug-ins that I'd like to try, but they are rar files. I dropped them in the Data Folder as directed, but they don't work. Do I need to download a certain program to use them?

Oh--just saw the thread below where add-ons were discussed. I'd still like to know about rar files though.

Rar files are compressed archives. You need a program like (
http://www.rarlab.com/) WinRAR to extract the files.

Or use a program like (
http://www.izarc.org/) IZArc which handles quite a few archive formats (RAR included).
As for plug-ins, there are too many to name. Lots of good ones, but here are a few that pop straight into my drunken mind...
I quite enjoy the
Vampire Embrace plug-in for those times that i feel like enslaving all those that oppose me.
Morrowind Comes Alive is a good add-on to have (quite a few of them). Adds random NPCs all over the place. Most are friendly although the odd rogue will attack you.
Havish was quite fun and adds a decent landmass and quests to play with.
I've recently grabbed
Sea of Destiny which i haven't had the chance to check out yet and also some other mod which allows you to join House Dagoth and perform quests for Dagoth Ur instead of the main story line. Haven't played that one yet, but i've created a new character to try it out. Sounds interesting anyway. There's another called
Silgrad Tower that looks promising. Anyone tried that?
Ok that's enough ranting from this old booze-hound.

Ah ha! I'm going to give these files a try now--thanks!
Anyone tried the Lost City of Atlantis? I get a few sizing-type (that are related to this plug-in) when M is loading, but haven't gotten over there to test it out yet.

I refuse to play Morrowind without these mods (all available at Morrowind Summit)...
The Illuminated Order: Adds a faction and a boatload of quests in the pursuit of Forbidden Knowledge.
Giants: Adds approximately eleventy-billion new random creatures to the game.
CM Partners: Allows you to recruit companions. Includes instructions on creating your own in the editor.
Magical Trinkets of TamrielAdds approximately eleventy-billion new magical items to random loot. Also allows you to create undead minions.
Dave Humphrey's Furniture Store: Buy and arrange furniture to create your perfect home. Includes unfurnished homes for sale ranging from a one-room hut to a castle.
Seyda Neen Fast Travel by Sea: Let's face it, anything that gets you out of Seyda Neen faster is a good thing.
Dwemer Headache Fix: Reduces the volume on the clanging and rumbling in dwemer ruins.
Alphasim's Balmora Guild Door: Adds a door connecting the mage's and fighter's guilds to make going back & forth less inconvenient.

Peeper - does Illuminated Order cause any conflicts or have any bugs?
The few content mods I've tried all seem to make the game go wonky. (Tried Modern Adventurer and Children of the Night).
My favorite mod is, actually, the only mod I use: "A Good Place to Stay." But I really want to try a content-adding mod again - I've just had bad experiences with them in them in the past.

I've never encountered any conflicts/bugs that I could attribute to Illuminated Order. It's very well behaved.
Also regarding wonkyness, you might want to get one of the utilities that cleans GMSTs from mods (whatever a GMST is, it's a Bad Thing to have duplicates of them in downloaded mods). That might help.
Another content adding mod I've had good luck with is The Amulet of Scrye.
