Other than machinarium, I don't remember especially noticing the music; maybe the best game music is the one you forget, but which accompanied the game perfectly while playing!? I liked the ambient backgrounds in Kairo while playing, but it's nothing I especially remember. NaissanceE had some interesting tunes now that I listen to them again -- albeit with some being a bit
too interesting.
People often say that about scores for movies, and that's certainly true when a score is invisible yet enhances the scene playing, as a distractingly catchy score would pull the viewer out of the action to instead concentrate on the music. I see that sort of argument as coming from a film critic, however: a person who evaluates the entire package shot-for-shot in its final form, and not someone who appraises a score on its own virtues.
For video games, the history of game music is such that early tunes were the product of limited hardware, and thus had to be short, repetitive, and catchy. That's sort of carried on to the present day even though we haven't had such restrictions since Redbook audio was a thing. A fair portion of current-day video game scores
do follow the cinematic mode and don't call attention to themselves, but by extension that means they will not be especially memorable, and thus not easily quotable in a thread like this. :)

I'd upvote you for this, were there a way for me to upvote you.

Hey look, a stark violation of personal post space.
You've been spending too much time with Duck again, haven't you? DO NOT FINGER WITHOUT ASKING FIRST, RENZ.

But it's the sudden surprised look, followed by the crushing realization and overwhelming shame that makes it fun. OUI OUI!
...yeah, I really need to quit hanging out with Duck.

These days on the whole I tend to prefer the soundtracks in smaller, more indie releases; it's been a while since I really enjoyed a big orchestral soundtrack - though I do like them when they work, e.g.
Skyrim.
FEZ had some great music, as did
Hyper Light Drifter. My favourite recentish game music must be the songs done for
Transistor, though:
Transistor, "Paper Boats"

Transistor, "In Circles"

Transistor, "We All Become"

P.S.: Huh... I only found out just now that you can't embed more than one video.

Still one of my all-time faves, although the game, while
looking nice, was punishingly difficult, requiring frequent pixel-perfect jumps and sluggish controls.
God yes. Insanely hard to complete.
I love this piece.

One of the benefits of not having much of a life at the time: I had all the time I needed to play these sequences over and over and over again until I was lucky enough to manage. I don't think ability had that much to do with it; muscle memory, yes, and sheer persistence, but it's not like I was a gaming god at that age.
Also, while I said earlier that I wasn't into the big orchestral soundtracks anymore, I very much enjoy this one back when it came out:
