[SPOILER]If you don't have Gunther's kill phrase and have to fight him, if you damage him enough without killing him so that he runs away, he might say "I need a skul-gun!"
If you happened to read Gunther's email back in UNATCO HQ early in the game, you'll see one that shows where Gunther requested a skul-gun, which is what it sounds like, a mind controlled gun hidden in the skull.[/SPOILER]
