If that's the case, then why not just ASK RavynousHunter instead of being assholes?
Because this is more fun and enriches the community in the process, sNeaksieGarrett.

Whats the prodigy style these days? I kinda ignored their new single out of generally low expectations. I wouldn't mind being pleasantly suprised.
I hated
Invaders Must Die straight off the bat but then I heard Omen and loved it, so after a few more listens Invaders started to settle into my playlist. The cool thing is even though it's dirty and distorted in places I think what really keeps it going is the old-school techno underpinning it.

Oh, he was being serious about the topic? Jesus Christ, I realised Dragonball was the worst piece of shit ever when I was 15.
Get some Satoshi Kon (Shit on the level of Ichi the Killer and Alice in Wonderland), Mamoru Oshii (omg omg omg MECHA), Kenji Kamiyama (omg MORE MECHA), Shinichiro Watanabe (Makes same shit as everyone else but changes the background music to something WACKY), Hideaki Anno (Probably least entertaining psycho ever), and more animu which are pretty much at same 13-year-old level DBZ is but at least they have better animation.
Listen to this man, for he is an anime expert.

Dragonball is actually excellent if you stilll have the power to read the original manga, rather than just stare dumbly at the bastardised anime.
Although the Red Ribbon Army storyline is a bit boring the rest of it is wonderful. At least 30% of the animated version is non-Toriyama filler, and the canonical stuff has been stretched to the limit in order to milk the story for all it's worth. A sad mistake really.
However, if only a few viewers went on to read the true version then I suppose it is worth it.
Of course, the true version of the manga would be the original Japanese, but then very few people know how to read Japanese well enough, or own the Japanese manga. But I am brilliant at Japanese and I own the whole series in Japanese.
That means that I am the best fan of Dragonball.
My favourite character is easliy Tenshinhan. He is the bravest because he always comes to fight the villains even though he knows that his power (as a mere human) is woefully inadequate. Yamcha and Kuririn on the other hand, are snivelling cowards.
Next is Bejita, because he is so ruthless and his hair is awful.

But not as neat as the balls in my pants pockets.

Seconding EvaUnit02's choice of anime, Turtle's girl touching and Koki's Vegeta, which is totally awesome. You can add it to everything and it will taste better. And I mean EVERYTHING!
"Invaders must die" is no "Always outnumbered, never outgunned" but gets back to the roots of 90s in-your-face technopunk.
Did I leave any topic out? Oh yeah, Dragonballz my ass.

I love the idea of openly-editable thread tags but some of you anonymous taggers shouldn't have skipped so many Comedy 101 classes.
The professor was hot, even. You had no excuse!

Tags might become openly editable in the future and this may or may not solve the problem. At the moment you can only add to them.
Aja on 18/2/2009 at 10:22
when I said openly editable I meant openly-addable.
I would actually prefer it to remain that way, else great stuff might get removed.
