Has anyone been able to determine a relationship between skills and their favorite attributes, ie what these are they doing more than giving 10 more points in an attribute ?

Skill success is affected by the governing attribute, Luck, current Fatigue, the skill level and various other things depending on what skill it is (eg. magic skills also count in the difficulty of the spell).
You can try it out for yourself by using a low skill a bit and then drink some Fortify -attribute- potions for either the governing attribute or Luck and see the difference. Note that Luck has less effect than the governing attribute but applies to all actions, there is a reason why no skill is governed Luck.

Thanks but i know that.
I was meaning : do the 2 favorite attributes raise faster than the others or are they only a way to gain 10 points at the character creation ? How do they work exactly ?

At every level change you are able to assign points to your characters stats. bonuses (in multiples) apply to stats that are specific to your class, eg i'm an assassin so speed and strength get multiplier bonuses ie 1 point = 2 points. Of course to upgrade skills in game you need to just use something for the appropriate skill ie shortsword to increase short blade skill, lock picking to increase security skill etc... and you can find books in game that giv you instant increases in ability.

Those are afaik only a 10 point boost.
