Fast travel system. (One minor spoiler)

Ok, pretty much all of my Oblivion accounts (As well as my Morrowind accounts) Avoided doing the main quest. I'd just travel, travel, travel. Anyway, my newly made Argonian Warrior Is doing the main quest, and he just finished closing the first Oblivion gate. You know, that one outside the destroyed town? With the shrine to Akvash or whatever his/her name is. Anyway, I'm still helping the guards clear out the remaining daedra, but when I'm finished I have to take the Emporer's son to Jauffre. Can I use the fast travel system and take my companion with me? I'v always avoided using it so I also don't know how to use it, so some help there would be nice...

Yup. People following you about will fast travel with you. As will your horse, even if you didn't saddle up before leaving.

Ah, thanks. Just one more question...how do I bring up the fast travel system???

go to your inventory, click the compass at the bottom and the second square to the left will go to a large map, find the area you wish to travel, it will be indicated by a small symbol, click it it will ask if you want to travel there, hit yes.
