I was holding out for late transfers, but can't really be bothered to wait any more.

I'd just like to mention that it's a marathon not a sprint ;)
Congrats to Citadel Benfica who've taken first blood in WEEK ONE with a 52 point haul.
A poor showing so far for the goth sides with myself and Cure City (Iggles) lurking second bottom and bottom with 40 and 37 points, respectively. Proof, if proof be need be, that angst doesn't aid footballing performance.
Everyone else is sat on 40-50 points.

I quickly spent the points that Crespo got me on a double-transfer to actually get a defender that isn't injured, so I think I'm on 38 or 39 now.

Thanks to a stupid mistake that I only noticed too late, I got Bobby Zamora on the starting eleven and left Sheringham as the last sub. Which means that I could have six more points by now :nono:
