Yeah, that story is about European competition (which indeed you do not get points for), but obviously if he plays in that he'll be back for the Prem. Possibly a good decision to get Chelsea dudes instead though.

Our league is rapidly beginning to emulate The Prem. There's a little relegation league ending at 8th place, which is a kind of strange limbo world. Anything above 8th up to 2nd is the SCRAMBLE FOR EUROPE and Stront is busy doing a decent Chelsea impression.
It's a gap approaching 40 points now. No prizes for being top at Christmas though, ETC ETC. Still, looks a bit ominous.
In other news, Iggles is OFF THE BOTTOM.
In other other news, if you had Lampard as captain you got 42 points without even trying. This is quite silly.
Meanwhile, will everyone be trying to fit Henry back into their team after a triumphant two-goal return in Europe tonight? WHO CAN SAY.
