"Ooh, chase me chase me!": The Red Car vs Blue Car WHO WINS? Week Thirty Four.Chelsea or Man Utd, Chelsea or Man Utd? Will this sweaty game of kiss chase ever end, or will they finally admit to being in love? Who knows.

Bit of controversy here. Although they've got the highest score this extend-o-week with
103 points, I've heard a rumour that
Strontium Dogma have (
"joined a band" Ed). Therefore, their magnificent prize of a polite hand-clap will be donated to charity.
Otherwise it's as you were. There's a moderate scrap on for 2nd and 3rd place, but that's about it. I'm sure everyone is still playing for pride though!
Sadly, unlike the Premiership, there is not going to be a massive cash pay-out based upon final league positions.

Must... overtake... Dave.
I can't wait for the many Chelsea vs Man Utd games in store. Best 2 out of three? Jumpers for goalposts? Marvelous.

Indeed no! I'm desperately scrapping for a top five place whilst living in private dread of Useless United overtaking me at the finish line.

*Choke*: The No-one Wants To Win The Premiership Week Thirty Five.Come on, one of you!
In other news, Ronaldo has won the PFA Player of the year and PFA Young Player of the year awards (reports that he mysteriously stumbled over the steps on the way to collect his trophies are, as yet, unconfirmed). I'm sure you'll join me in a congratulatory drowning.
Amusingly, the PFA's Team of the year has forgotten that any goalkeepers, defenders or midfielders (except Gerrard) exist outside of Old Trafford. This means that Patrice Evra is officially the best left back in the league.
I'm as surprised as you.
[edit] Actually, I've had a complete turn-around on Evra after reading some of his words of wisdom.
On Ronaldo:
I always tell him before training, 'If you do stepovers on me, I will break your leg and rip up your shirt.'On Ronaldo again:
Cristiano makes me laugh because he is the only one to have his personal mirror in the dressing room. He spends hours doing his hair and putting on his gel. He loves his body.On joining Man Utd:
things are so well organized here. Everything is set up here for success, and I'll be the king of all cunts if I fail here.On Gary Neville:
Gary Neville talks very quickly and gets facial twitches. He often makes little grimaces as if he were receiving an electric shock. That makes us laugh a lot and Cristiano Ronaldo takes him off perfectly. And, apparently, yelled off a hotel balcony before the Chelsea vs Monaco Champions League Semi Final:
suck my pussy Lampard!I take it all back, the man is a genius and should be in the PFA team of the year FOREVER.

http://img144.imageshack.us/img144/8053/ttlgleagueapr22ke2.pngSlightly odd week, this. Until Sunday there'd been barely a clean sheet kept anywhere - so in some kind of karmic balancing act, England delivered two 0-0 draws. Few outstanding scores and few terrible ones; most of us settled for 30-50 points.
But one team went the extra mile, gave 110% and leapt to
51 points. That team was none other than ...
Citadel Benfica, who are our weekly champs.
D'Arcy on 22/4/2007 at 22:05
Two times week champs in the last three weeks or so... still, that might not be enough to secure an european spot :p
ACT SMILEY on 23/4/2007 at 03:09
I really should be bothered to tinker with my team, considering the hilariously poor results recently. But I'm not bothered, cause Skills is a legend.

"Good work Number 1": The Phil Neville Is A Double Agent Week Thirty Six.It's Man Utd's to lose, as they say.

http://img363.imageshack.us/img363/6222/ttlgleagueapr30nf1.pngMASSIVE DRAMA in our league, because the gap at the top is less than 100 points and ... nah, just kidding, it's been over for ages. However, Inter's championship success in Italy did encourage Materazzi to boogie me up to a week-clinching
61 points.
Two weeks to go (with a couple of teams playing twice this week) for everyone to cement their final positions!

I shall emerge victorious, I'm fairly positive.
In football news, Liverpool control most of the first half, will the Special One motivate Chelsea enough to blast back? We shall see!
Edit: doesn't look terribly likely
Edit the 2nd: PENALTY DRAMA
Edit #3: haha, bye bye Chelsea

I was never worried.
