I'm in a big Deus Ex mood, what with Mankind Divided on the horizon, and was wondering if there were any noteworthy fan missions made for the first game that are worth checking out?

tried a few back in the day, (
http://www.moddb.com/mods/zodiac) this was the only one that stuck in memory. as with many FMs, voice acting is its weakness (not sure whether it's poor or missing completely anymore, but both are bad for this type of FM).

I highly recommend trying The Nameless Mod. It's more of a total conversion than a fan mission. It's big, roughly the same length as Deus Ex. You can play the "good guy" path or the "bad guy" path. It's full of inside jokes, meta commentary, and Deus Ex lore. It's well designed, polished, and fun to play.
If you're looking for more of a traditional DM, I would start with Zodiac.
I've also been meaning to play 2027 one of these days.
