I was just wondering if people read or write it and if they do (either) where they do.

I have posted my own (just a bit of a start and middle) on the PDX boards.

That is the only Fan Fic place that I know of, and it is rarely visited. If there are any others I'd like to know, if there arn't then plase come to that one and read/write some stuff.

Has a pretty good (but unfortunately unfinished) fanfic called "Twist". The premise of it is that JC dies while escaping from UNATCO HQ, and how a certain group of people take up where he left off. The person who was writting it doesn't update it anymore (to the best of my knowledge), which is highly unfortunate as he had the best online column I have ever read, it is the funniest damn thing I have ever read (and all based on DX too!) if you want to check that out it's called "Got Ghand?"

Indeed, it was that that first made the idea for my story (Nihi) pop into my head. He has left the Deus Ex comunity and will return no earlier than the release of Invisible War and perhaps not at all. That really sucks, it was a very good story.
