Since you can't unravel the knot of he-said-she-said for everyone, you can either ignore it or engage it in terms of your experience. If you stick to describing the effect that the fueding has on you, rather than making judgements or prescriptions, you can have your say and stay largely above the fray.
Of course the side effect of this might be that you become the universal target of derision for family on all sides of the divides. The upside of this you become a unifying force. A sacrifice for the greater good.
