A Fallout 3 Game of the Year edition will be available in October. It will include the original game plus all five add-ons for $59.99 for Xbox 360 and PS3, and $49.99 for PC.

Hopefully there won't be any permanent glitches on the PS3 version, this time.

This is more interesting to me:

Fallout 3 Game Add-on Pack #1 includes The Pitt and Operation: Anchorage on a disc and will be available for Xbox 360 and PC on May 26.
The Fallout 3 Game Add-on Pack #2 includes Broken Steel and Point Lookout on a disc and will be available for Xbox 360 and PC in August.
Depending on price, I might be interested in picking them up. I don't really have any interest in a GOTY, though. I bought the "original campaign" on release day, and while I do like F3 a lot, I don't like it
that much.

All five addons? What?
poroshin on 22/5/2009 at 20:55
The fifth will be download-only. Since I haven't picked this up yet, I'll just wait a few months and get this complete edition.

So anyone else getting this? It's out in a month. Those that played the DLC addons, do they extend the main game, or do you play them separately? How does it all work?

Dethtoll is. I don't need to as I bought all of the addons separately.

Broken Steel seamlessly blends with the vanilla game. It raises the level cap to 30, adds new high level monsters to the overworld, encounters are added and some existing scenarios are tweaked (i.e. the actions that you can perform before the very end), the new quest content automatically activates after viewing the vanilla ending.

For the other four DLC, you get a pop up message saying something along the lines of "you've intercepted a transmission that's being broadcasted across the Wasteland." and thus a new quest is added to your log.

I'll probably get it, mainly because I haven't bought any of the DLCs. I do have the Collector's Edition of the game, mind you; since I haven't played it at all so far, I could pretty much hit myself.
