I downloaded the Falco Software Chess and Icon Maker programs. When you start setup it tells you there is a piece of software that monitors your activity on your computer for marketing. I clicked Decline instead of Accept, and continued to install the Chess program.
Is the Decline button a lie, or can I trust it? Kaspersky found no threats in the setup file.

You should be good Uncadonego. Scan the install folder again and monitor the firewall (you have one, right?). If something suspicious tries to communicate out then make sure to block it.
Run a scan with (
http://filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/) Malwarebytes, it will catch all sorts of malware, adware and other nasty critters installed with programs. Really good stuff. :)
