This would go over better in the random youtube thread.
Also, the constant switches made it hard to follow for me.

That's actually pretty clever. Funny!
Also clever that he managed to pull off at least three hooks for fair use in one video -- teaching, parody, and criticism -- at the same time.
It's not an exaggeration to say that Micky Mouse is almost single-handedly responsible for the extension of the copyright term to 70 years in the US. That mouse gets near to public domain, the establishment gets edgy, and they would rather rehaul the entire copyright regime for every kind of copyrightable work imaginable -- whatever the implications for other creative fields -- than face a single, poorly drawn mouse they can't sue. Breathtaking, the influence of that one mouse.

Just the nature of the thing. I'm surprised he could pull off what he did.
It wouldn't have been nearly as good if he had actually added something
original of his own to the dialogged parts, like dubbing. It's better watching it the second time around.

It's not just Mickey Mouse. Disney also owns the rights to Winnie the Pooh and a couple of other stories that should have been public domain long ago. But it looks like they won't be able to pull off the hat-trick and get copyright extended again next time. The system is too widely decried as broken by too many people--not all of them writers and artists. I think we'll see a big struggle in the courts in a few years to overhaul copyright completely and, of course, Disney will be in the thick of it. Along with every other corporate entity that has rights to a continuing best-seller.

Hahaha that is very good. However it was a bit too long and some bits flowed better than others. :p
