icemann, consider threatening them with court action via a legal professional. Sometimes the big companies will only really get off their bums at that stage.
It'd be better, and likely more quickly resolved, if Ice were to go after the perpetrator specifically for harassment/libel, rather than try to net Facebook into taking legal responsibility for someone else's actions.

I
A few months later he created an imposter account on FB using another person's name, but filled the profile with photos taken straight from my FB account with vile captions underneath. I found out about this shortly after, but could not look up the profile myself (but could from other peoples accounts) as he blocked me on it. I reported (from my mothers account) the account to Facebook and shortly after received a response from them of:
What to do. Not sure. Why should those posting impersonation related content get better protection than the victims of it? Does not make 1 bit of sense to me.
If you want to get him banned report him for racism and hate speech.
I am actually serious. At least from what I hear the 4chan types have studied the most effective ways to get people banned from FaceBook/Twitter and accusing them of racism does the trick much more easily than does credible evidence of harassment.

Well, if it's anecdotal evidence from the peer-reviewed 4chan scholars then it must be true.

Agree with Renzatic on this. Go after the perp not Facebook, it is surprising what a solicitors letter can accomplish at reasonable cost...

This may be true, but if icemann happens to be a white male I'm not sure it's relevant.

It's racist to say that you can't be racist against white males. It's sexist too. What sort of monster are you?

Doesn't matter. The people who use "hate speech" to get other parties banned are usually whiny, neckbearded white males and it doesn't stop them from succeeding.

Tony you are nothing if not consistent.
henke on 9/8/2016 at 18:17
Come on, icemann, just report the guy for racism already. Tony needs proof that people get reported for racism for reasons that have nothing with racism to do.
Come on, chop chop, we got biases to confirm here.

If they haven't responded to a harassment complaint it's at least worth a shot.
Might be more effective if you can get a couple of us to complaint-bomb him.
