The wife set up a FB page a few months ago. I don't have a FB page...fuck...I still have the same flip phone from ten years ago. Anyhooo....the whole interface doesn't seem too user friendly. DromEd = Facebook or not. I think I'd rather finish the last FM I have on my hard drive than learn facebook...would be easier.

It's not that complicated. There's a searchfield at the top where you type in who you wanna e-stalk, below that is a text field where you type in what you're eating, and that's pretty much it.

There are also a lot of terrible games, about which you can send annoying invites to your friends, which are always much appreciated.

The interface definitely grew more "crowded" over the years, the initial facebook was much more clean. Now you got events, groups, birthday reminders, etc. It's actually pretty convenient to have it all on one screen but I can see why it can feel a bit overwhelming at first. Takes some getting used to.

FB used to be just a simple way to connect with your fellow students, share a few funny messages and photos. Now it's trying to be your "INTERNET homepage." It's a little scary (but also cool) I tend to find out about the latest important events (like the terrorist attacks) just scrolling through the feed of my friends' statuses sometimes...

I know there's some browser plugins and greasemonkey scripts that get rid of some FB elements and just boil it down to essentials, you may want to look into those to ease yourself in.
