What? You can`t have real beards? What about my Wizard? What a design flaw! :(

Okay, I finally picked up the game today. Will it install it pretty soon. I have a feeling I am going to spend quite a bit of time just designing my character's face, although I do want to jumpt into dungeon delving asap.

By the way...The Dark Brotherhood is the best guild EVER. DB fo' life, ya herd?
Damn straight. But the "secret mission" - arg! So difficult to go through with. You know the devs made a great game when it becomes difficult to kill certain characters because you've developed a certain affinity for them. The DB is really like a family. So cool.

Kajiit faces can turn out a lot nicer that most people think. When I initially saw the "default" kajiit, I cringed. It looked like the pink panther got hit repeatedly in the face with a baseball bat because the ugly stick broke. I actually went online, found real pictures of lions, placed them on my phone and sat there for 45 minutes making the perfect kajiit. And it turned out awesome. like there was a real lion head on a huminoid frame. I also learned that your not stuck with the cruddy looking dark brown haircolor. the kajiits hair actually modifies itself to best match you fur, depending on how you make it. You just do see the modified hair until after you start the game. My kajiit has a two tone thing going, gold mane with white ends. and he kicks more ass as a thief then my Garret build. I couldn't find a detailed enough picture of him to be satisfied. However my kajiit does the trick.
Would post a screenshot, however I have no clue how to take them.

I am saddened that some of the controls for face modification are inextricably linked, making it impossible to create a decent Gollum face.

I think it would have been nice, instead of the "random" setting (which EVE proved able to create legions of chemical waste plant baby rejects) there were a bunch of premade templates (like they did with hair color, only more complex) that the player could than alter to their specifications. On the other hand, with some of the most ulgy ass faces of the NPCs in game I have to wonder if the Devs can actually make adequate use of their own program. It's an incredible tool though, well worth the time spent put into making it look good (exactly what I was wishing for in EVE, where I hoped all this face creation would actually get stuck on a moving model. Alas, no dice, just a portrait, but I just open up the face editor the other day and nearly exploded in Joy.)
