I have this taste for artists who churn out nothing but lo fi videos if any. So I feel a bit handicapped here and I hope no one will slap these videos into my face because of the
low quality.
But despite the fact that each of them has probably cost no more than the tape to film it, they are really cool and well worth watching imo.
So here you go.
(

(

Funny enough the theme is practically the same in both cases. These are divine solo musicians busking.

I remember seeing this when it came out. Was always wondering what it was about. Quite frankly I still think it sets out to be disturbing. (None of the drivers who run over him stop?)
Then I just checked the lyrics of the song and stumbled over this part:
Quote:
If you're frightened of dyin' and you're holding on...
You'll see devils tearing your life away.
But...if you've made your peace,
Then the devils are really angels
Freeing you from the earth.....from the earth....from the earth
I heard this first in the movie (
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0099871/) Jacob's Ladder. It really is from (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meister_Eckhart) Meister Eckhart though, a religious philosopher and mystic who was born in Gotha, where I lived a few years.
That still doesn't explain the video though. Any interpretations?

Tbh, no. Never tried to find any either, though. Just thought the video was cool. Plus, the album the song's on is pretty ace as well, which doesn't hurt.
[edit] And I finally found the other video I was looking for: (

Maybe the dude makes peace with dying at the end and then the demons(cars) can't hurt him anymore. Or something? Nice video anyway.

One of the greatest cover versions ever:D and a beautifully realized video
Therapy covering Husker Du's "Diane"
How do they make such an ugly story look and sound so beautiful?
