Sometimes, when that damn Sony Playstation window pops up when you open a topic. I get Explorer faults, and explorer shuts down.
Any reason that the pop up should cause this? Is the script cross browser compatible? I'm using IE 5.0

Yes, we are aware of the problem... unfortunately, there's nothing we can do about it (it's the ad server's fault, not ours). Until then, try not to hit the "back" or "forward" button too fast, or else it will usually crash your browser.

what are you guyz on about???
i have internet exploror 5.0 and it never crashes on ttlg. all that happens is the pop-up banner appears and i close it, that's the only annoying thing about it.

Thanks Saam. I understand you need funds to pay the upkeep of this place, but can we complain to the ad server, or get them to work on the code?
I know good paying advertisers are hard to find, but perhaps you could find another advertiser if they refuse to try to correct it.
I had to reboot tonight because of it.
Any little change would be good change.
It gets kind of annoying, especially when I have multiple windows open.

Yeah, we're trying to find other ad agencies to go to... hopefully we'll have a pretty respectful solution in no time.

Haven't noticed the pop up tonight. If you got rid of it Saam, thanks. In any case, I spent two hours reading various posts tonight, and had nary a problem.
