On YouTube, I saw the different endings, but I don't really get what happens in the false ending with the monolith when your wish is that humanity needs to be controlled.
Anyone have some insight?

I just don't remember the cinematic...
PS: Destroyed maybe? There is a "humanity must be destroyed" false ending in which all is taken away from Strelok by O-consciousness and he appears in a void.

242, that's the "Humanity needs to be controlled" ending.
He says that "mankind is corrupt and humanity needs to be controlled", and he ends up in a void, because ultimately, he is corrupt too, and needs to be controlled ... by the monolith of course.

Strange, in russian version he surely says "humanity needs to be killed"...

Yeah, it's just that the cinematic is so devoid of anything really insightful of what happened.
The other three false endings are pretty specific how the "wish" ends badly. This one just seems so pointless and empty.

Some factors take part in the equation like sum of your money, reputation, kill count, as well as did you kill Voronin/Lukash or not.

There is nothing like a false ending in Stalker.
