Is there a replicator (hacked or not) somewhere that sells beakers or worm clusters? From the beakers available on decks 1-5, I hoarded about 80 worm samples. Doesn't seem like much. I guess that's why it's "exotic" ammo. The funny thing is, it's the beakers that limit worm ammo, since you can collect several beakers full from one worm pile.

I don't remember being able to buy beakers with the replicators.
Perhaps your best bet is to use the worm ammo very sparingly. :o

Beakers are scarce in the game, and you definitely can't buy them on any Replicator. But you'll find enough of them later in the game, at least if you're not considering going all the way using only the Viral Proliferator or the Worm Launcher. When I want to use Exotic Weapons I usually start collecting the beakers right from the start, and I've never had problems with lack of ammo.

It would be more logical yes, but it would give you the ability to stand near a worm pile and collect worm clusters forever; imagine the amount of nanites you could gather if you have the recycler with you.

No, because the recycler would recycle the beaker, so you wouldn't be able to refill it. But it would still be infinite ammo.

Exotic weapons only is a piece of cake when you finish researching the crystal shard. But decks 1 - 3. . . :sweat:

You could always get the Molecular Duplication psi power. That's what I usually do when playing with Exotic weapons.
