I've seen some of those photos posted from actual news stories recently (the frog/mouse, tortoise/hippo, pony in snow/cat). The photo I'm intrigued by is the Przewalski horse with the black spotted dog. I'd love to know where they took that shot, those horses are rare.

Have no idea where the shot was taken, but in checking did find out stuff like:
As of January 1, 1998, some 60 Przewalski horses live on the steppes of Hustain Huruu with some 1450 spread over 135 zoos and private parks all over the world. (

I'd heard they were a protected species but had no idea that they'd actually become extinct in the wild until the mid-1990's when they started being reintroduced to their native habitat.

They're pretty cute, then you see a link about some of the animals from a website with fellows in black skimasks looking like terrorists.
