Is there any way to do an exact phrase search in these forums? Eg, "exact phrase search" Using AND helps but it is still not an exact search.
Also, is there any way to make email notification the default? I keep forgetting to set it.

At the moment you cannot do an exact search.
For the Email Notification go the the Edit Options section of the User CP and check the "Yes" radio button for the Use 'Email Notification' by default? option

Mmmm... Seems it was already set to 'yes' but I'm not getting email notifications. My email address seems correct in the profile and I do get them if I request individually. Though I could have sworn I did for this but not certain.
PS. There's another thread I started today in the Thief Editor's Guild at the same time. I'm almost certain I set at least one of them but received no email for either.
I'll keep a more careful check over the next few days.

Actually, the "Use 'Email Notification' by default?" option cannot be set to "Yes". If you notice, it will revert to No everytime you try. This was done because of the INCREDIBLE volume of bounced notification emails we were getting to reduce strain on the email server (and my inbox, since I am the one who gets the bounces).
Sorry for the inconvenience, however, you can still check the "Email Notification" box at the bottom of any post you make, or cleck the "Subscribe to this Thread" link at the bottom of any thread you wish to track. :)

But I take your point. Having just had my email server down for several hours due to bombardment by this Sobig virus I can appreciate your reasons. Thanks for response.
