has anyone had this problem with Oblivion When they to play, where everything is white and devoid of textures ? If so can it be fixed ?

It sounds like a graphics card issue to me.
What graphics card are you using and what version of the drivers do you have?

Well this should probably go better in the General Oblivion section, but I don't think you're going to like the answer either way.
From what I've seen of others who've had the problem, it sounds like you're trying to use a video card that doesn't support Shader Model 2.0 which Oblivion requires.
If that's the case, there's nothing you can do aside from get a supported video card.

I second that, I have the same problem with another Shader 2.0 game and I'm going to have to get a new card :tsktsk:
