A couple of things:
- HBO did Six Feet Under, not Showtime
Whoops.

- If you think one paltry serial killer has got jackshit on the old West, you need to review your history, my friend.
Deadwood isn't about the entire West during the frontier period, but one town. Also, you might find The Not So Wild West (it's point summarized and linked to (

- Also, no fucking idiot cocksucker would ever watch Deadwood with his family (assuming you mean younger children or with your parents or the like) in the fucking room, that would make for an uncomfortable viewing experience for everyone involved unless they were all extremely comfortable with profanity, sex, violence and immorality.
I know it's not a family show, you would normally expect a western movie or show to be more of one than one about a serial killer and other (serial or otherwise) killers.

"Serial killer" is just modern nomenclature for what they would've called a
"fucking badass" in the West. ;)

Not John Wayne Gacy, as he was more of a "bad ass-fucker."
