Are you sure it's not a DNF image with DXHR hud-elements photoshopped in?
Anyway, I played the first mission of DXHR yesterday. I realize that the melee-attack has to take a while to recharge because it would be too easy otherwise but it feels a bit silly when there's only one guy left in the room, searching through some box, and you're stuck standing behind him for half a minute waiting for the melee to recharge. :p
I guess Adam has to reboot his melee-software after every takedown. There should be a commandline in the hud that says:
Code:
LOADING KICK-YOUR-FUCKING-ASS, 8, 1
Yes, that is seriously my biggest complaint with the game. So in other words I am enjoying it very much.

I found it during my second trip to Hengsha, while sneaking through the underground parking garage leading to the Harvesters baseIt was completely unexpected. I was just exploring about and BAM! There it was. A poop.

That almost looks like something from Rate My Poo.
Commodore command line parameters... fuck, I'm getting old. :p

Is it long enough to stick an Invade-A-Load in there, do you think? :p

Alternatively, you can eat a candy bar. :p In the long run you can upgrade your energy cells and get lots of boosts, but for the most part I find the time gap between takedowns is irrelevant compared to the amount of time it takes me to get into position.

I just wish it would charge up past the first battery. Though that'd make candy bars kind of useless, I guess.
Renzatic on 31/8/2011 at 21:01
You know, the whole candybar thing is a bit cheesy when you think about it. So you find yourself in dire straits, and absolutely need all your energy to make it through unscathed?
THEN YOU, SIR, NEED TO HIDE BEHIND A CRATE AND SCARF DOWN A BUNCH OF SNICKERS!
chom nom nom nom smack smack nom :mouth full: I'm gonna kick all your asses SO hard chom nom nom nom smack smack *erp*. Whoops. Excuse me.
...okay! I can feel the carbs kicking in. I'm good to go!
