I was seriously planning on not bothering with DE:HR but word-of-mouth hype has my attention. Is the game worth making a 180 on my skepticism? I could be playing it in a matter of hours but I want a reason other than making Vernon feel bad.

Seriously though, aside from a few glaring issues (namely, bosses) it's pretty much DX1 with yellow in it. Get it now.

I was also pretty sceptical, but after playing it at a friend's, I'm probably going to buy it. Defies all expectations.
