Well it's certainly... shiny.

but still can't get Shodan's face right.

I think that the protocol droid looks great and is close to the original (except for the triop logo that is now in the middle of his chest).
I'm assuming, that it is not possible to get this model into the game?!

Way to meet expectations, guys. I had almost expected someone to be positive about this guy's work. Thanks.

we are old and evil. what would you expect? also, the protocol droid looks way too armored for it's own good, but apart from that, yeah, looking pretty nice. to get it ingame, it would need to successfully get through a Dark Engine model exporter.

You'd think that by now at least one of his eight Godzillas would have noticed we're not exactly one of those "Yay, you made a thing! High-five!" communities. Yeah, it's a thing, but it doesn't look much like what it's supposed to be.

I'd say his version of the Von Braun looks about like what you'd expect of it, minus a couple of stylistic differences. It's a state of the art ship off on its maiden voyage. The parts of it that don't have gory chunky people pieces splattered against the wall will be pretty shiny and sterile looking.
It's been a looooong time since I played SS2, but if I remember correctly, the game begins after the VB has been out of dock for 6 months. That's nowhere near enough time for it to develop a worn down, lived in look.
So yeah, ZB. It will be shiny.

There's realistic shiny, and there's "Doom 3 oh god why is every surface covered with three coats of Turtle Wax?" shiny. This is the latter.
Also SHODAN doesn't have orange eyes dammit.

I'll give you Shodan, but I still gotta disagree with you concerning the overabundance of shiny. Yeah, the floor looks a little too chromed up in that overhead shot (the reflection should be a little more diffused, like it is in the Xerxes shot), but even that is nowhere near as bad as Doom 3's overblown speculars.
