The North American release is set for December 2nd while the European release (including the UK) is set for some time in February(!)
If you don't want to wait that long I've been told of this rather nice online store in Canada that includes world-wide shipping free (yes, you did read that right) and I've just placed my order :D
The price is good: CA$65, which works out at £30 or €43 including delivery, which is the exact same price you can wander down to the shops and pay two months later - looks like a winner to me.

Please bare in mind that this price does not include any local customs charges which will vary from country to country. In the UK imported goods over £18 are supposed to incur a customs charge, although often small packages like games will slip through the net.

Much less often these days, customs have been really clamping down for the past year or two. Just be warned, I've imported two games from dvdboxoffice this year and both times was charged an additional £17.50 import fee.
I recommend using (
www.sps-systems.co.uk), they have become a very well respected importer right here in the UK. They tend to get the games and dispatch them about a day after US release and they'll have DX2 for £40 (import fees covered in that cost). Their customer service is excellent and they'll look after you.

Took David's advice + my shiny new game arrived yesterday. I was much amused to see the 'Not for Sale Outside North America' warnings plastered EVERYWHERE, especially when the EULA is governed by English law... :)

Not for sale outside North America means just that not to be sold outside North America. I doesnt mean it cant be sold to anyone ouside of North America. If you get what I mean
Slartybartfast on 6/1/2004 at 12:28
so could you legally sell copies of it from the UK american embassy?

The sad part is Everyone 'outside north america' will probably get a patched and hopefully an un-neutered game. Though thats just me being hopeful.

I strongly doubt. They will spend time translating the game and not fxing it, I think.
Anyway, I live in Russia and I have just ordered the game from amazon.com.
