Every tournament needs an England goalkeeping blunder...
It's a shame that England got the equaliser so soon in the second half, I fear that the game will now revert back to the borefest that the first half was, or total English domination. Both are undesirable options. :D

What do you mean, borefest? There was some classy diving going on there - perhaps you missed it.
Actually, I confess to falling asleep while others went back to work, just before half time.
Edit. I sort of watched the 2nd half while doing other things and thought it was a big improvement on the first. I thought Chris Coleman and Bale were gracious in defeat - perhaps Ronaldo could take lessons.

I might put a tenner on Northern Ireland, holy hell!

I'm really pleased to see my wee team get such a good result against Ukraine - sadly I didn't see it but after the Poland game I was worried they'd continue to be overawed by the occasion. Not a bit of it from what I read, though the real test comes against the mighty Deutschland next week. Third place might be enough, but if we could somehow nick a draw then it would be amazing.
Come on the GAWA!

That Northern Ireland game was fantastic viewing. I didn't give them a chance, but they were spot on with their tactics and deserved the win.
Having got up before 8am so I could finish early to watch the England game, I slept through almost the entirety of the Germany-Poland game. I don't think I missed much.

Lyon was awash with Norn Irn folk last night, all making merry and generally conducting themselves in a way which the unruly English fans should take note of.
Good to hear the accent - makes me miss being back there.

Iceland/Hungary was pretty exciting. I certainly don't think Iceland were negative and I felt so sorry for Saevarsson for the own goal.
Interesting to see what the petulant child can do in the next match. I'm supporting Austria in this one.

Hehehe (or huehuehuehue or whatever they say in Portuguese) :D I always find it a bit annoying when players celebrate it when the referee awards their team a penalty kick, so that makes the penalty miss even more satisfying in these cases.
It'd be awesome if Iceland
and Hungary could both qualify from that group, but to be fair Portugal have just been very unlucky so far, so I have a feeling that they'll beat Hungary in their last group stage match. Hungary will most likely qualify even if they lose, so at least we should be able to see Gabor Kiraly and his old jogging pants in the knockout stage, but I hope that Iceland will be able to beat Austria on Wednesday.
Wales were absolutely amazing today. 3-0 against Russia. And they weren't just
Bales in this game either (even though Bale did have a great match), they played really well as a team. Or maybe the Russians were just really that bad... Well, I won't miss them and their thug "fans", so good riddance. England had to endure a pretty frustrating (I can imagine) 90 minutes against Slovakia, they had plenty of chances to score, but the Slovakian keeper and their defenders pulled off some heroic saves, and England were just a bit unlucky. It's still quite funny and very confusing to watch the meltdown of the England fans though. Sure, they should have beaten Slovakia today and Russia a week ago because they were the better team in those games, but even beating Wales 2-1 apparently wasn't enough. Some people should wake up from their 1966 dreamworld... I guess I'll never be able to understand England fans. How can they be so overconfident
and miserable at the same time?! :D

I think it may be Jejejejejeje or something (or is that Spanish?).
