We call digestive biscuits digestive biscuits, you merchant banker. It's a brand. We also call cookies cookies, when we feel like filling our faces with inferior american swill.

He was referring to rhyming slang, not cookies. Do try to keep up.

Don't even get me started on rhyming slang. That gibberish is incoherent by design.
True. But that's not a bad thing.

It might have simply been used to maintain a sense of community; or to be used in the marketplace for vendors to talk amongst themselves without customers knowing what they were saying; or it may have been used by criminals (see thieves' cant) to confuse the police.
So like l33t sp33k really. It is now so well known that it no longer serves this purpose, and is only used to confuse Americans.

Aren't you supposed to save those rants for when I'm actually, y'know... wrong?
We can't wait that long! :D

And I was talking about cookies, you wannabe sophisticate. Since you blundered into it, rhyming slang IS incoherent by design, yes. Look it up.
Oop, AxTng1 already did. Anyway point still stands, anus-eyes.

Dude, you're criticising rhyming as "gibberish" because if it's incoherent design.
That's the whole point.

Last night while I was choking on a piece of pork chop and my life was flashing before my eyes I thought of one of these... Bought the farm.

Okay fine, you got me. I said something that was 100% correct, but purely by accident. Happens a lot really. In fact, I don't even speak English. I'm just sitting here randomly punching keys. If my random output happens to form coherent sentences it's purely by luck, and I'm certainly not aware of it.
