That archeological dig there in Pompeii is facinating. Probably the most preserved site. But.
There was a volcano erupting!!!..They were clinging to each other in Terror... and being "almost certain of being man and women". I figure forensics will tell anyway...But maybe it's two women, or two men in an embrace. Just wondering. Being in the Roman times and all.

Pompeii is 400 miles south and about 3000 years later than these remains we're talking about, though.
