I'm trying to use the 1024 X 768 patch, but I get I "Frequency out of Range" error whenever I activate it, even with the GeForce4000 fix.
Monitor is a E17T4.
Graphics card is a nVidia 7800GT, drivers are 84.25.
CPU is not dual-core.

I guess you are running winXP?
Try this:
Login as administrator.
Back up the file: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\vga.sys
File size should be 20992 Bytes. See that it is not write-protected.
Run the Geforce4000-fix.
Reboot and run the game.

Didn't work. Any other ideas?
