I say, who gets to lock threads and posts? Pray tell me it's not the Admin, right?
rachel on 14/12/2004 at 21:19
Admins and Moderators can lock, merge, split and move threads as they like*. I think Moderators are restricted to their forums, while Admins are omnipotent.
As far as I know.
Why are you afraid, though? Admins are not monsters. Well, except the GBM of course, but he's a friendly monster ;)

Moderators can see where you live and if you have a webcam they can see through it, even when it's turned off.
Admins have laser eyes

Laser eyes? That must hurt a bit.

And they know what you're thinking.
It comes as no surprise.
Christmas lights are blinking.

I'm told it's only Prince Klortho the Keymaster, a minion of Gozer, who has such privilege.

Ah, Gozer the Traveler! He will come in one of the pre-chosen forms. During the rectification of the Vuldrini, the traveler came as a large and moving Torg! Then, during the third reconciliation of the last of the McKetrick supplicants, they chose a new form for him: that of a giant Slor! Many Shuvs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Slor that day, I can tell you!

Say, can Members qualify to be an Administrator? :erg:
Dave Angel on 15/12/2004 at 18:57
David's career started with being found as a hobobaby on GBM's doorstep, so anything's possible! But no, the almost-Edwardian hierarchy of status that defines the upper echelons of TTLG's elitist adminstration prevents anyone but the chosen few to ascend to those hallowed ranks. So you're out of luck if you've got your eye on the job, I'm afraid.

Ack, curse you David! :)
