I get nothing from that URL. If it even exists it's more likely the creation of a daydreaming fan.
And yes, I'm a level designer at Arkane.

Indeed!
The studios bought up have not lost their individual identies and are not consolidated into a single studio, but are unique sub-divisions with their own productions. Correct?

Yep. Though the studios will sometimes assist eachother with their projects, it is not the norm. At the moment I believe that is not taking place.

i.e., you haven't sat together with John Carmack yet :p
This thread is now about Rage

Looks good.
Funny thing about Oblivion ... I played it and enjoyed it very much for about two months, then I quit playing it and never really played it again. Twice tried to fire it up and just couldn't get into it. Which is bizarre because, almost without exception, if I like a game, I play it for years. I can't put my finger on what made Oblivion different, but I'm guessing it had to do with attempting too much and spreading it too thin. Hopefully Skyrim won't be like that. It really looks to be a beautiful game, from the trailer. I hope it'll live up to that.
I was surprised to hear that Arkane isn't working on Skyrim, because quite a bit of the stuff in the trailer looked like it was taken directly from Dark Messiah. Which isn't necessarily a good thing or a bad thing. I didn't really like Dark Messiah, but that was mostly because I was spoiled by Mount & Blade's combat system. Which, not coincidentally, was one of the reasons I wasn't impressed by Oblivion's combat system. More developers need to start acknowledging the clear superiority of the style of combat system which Taleworlds pioneered. I'd been waiting for something like that to come around for ten years before it did.
