NOVOCAINE NOVOCAINE NOVOCAINE ON MY TEETH! HOOORAHHH!

Am I the only one frowning upon this easy-way combination of two themes from previous games? ;) The soundtrack gives us pretty obvious hint: "we're having a mixture of Morrowind and Oblivion here, guys!", which is hardly anything fresh. Hopefully this is just Jeremy Soule, who's been pretty uninspired composer for quite some time, and the game is actually good.

Dwemer ruins are cool. Despite the graphics, I got a Morrowind vibe from a few moments. I also have that feeling that at some point before the end of the game you'll have to become a dragon. Mark my words.

Hmmm... Although some enviroments do not seem to be very impressive in this "epic" trailer (really ugly water, architecture that looks rather pale or thoughtless in comparision with e.g. The Witcher 2), I still have a feeling that I will enjoy Skyrim as much as I enjoyed Morrowind or (to some extent) Oblivion. I can't wait! :)
Does anyone know if this new TES engine is still plagued with loading screens between indoor and outdoor areas? I hope not.

It is. That's Bethesda style.

Hm... I'm still getting a very strong Oblivion feel from that trailer. Which is not really a bad thing, I just wouldn't get my hopes too far up for a magnificent, revolutionary step forward. I'll be content if, functionally, it turns out to be to Fallout 3 what Fallout 3 was to Oblivion, but I really wouldn't dare expect more.
Some of those city locales definitely do look cool, though, and it is nice to see peasants doing something other than walking around talking to their identical twins or drinking shit.

I'd almost be willing to bet it'll still retain the indoor/outdoor separation, much to my disappointment. Beaten to the punch, and on good authority. Pity, though.

That is really disappointing as I hated such areal separation. :( +1 for The Witcher 2.
So... the next Fallout game will also suffer from these loading zones. What a pity.

As much as it breaks immersion and grates my my architectural sensibilities, making every building a virtual Tardis is too big a win on too many design and technical fronts for them to give it up. I can understand why they're keeping it.
